Terms of service

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you create an account or play Tunnelside. By doing so you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game. If you have a question about them, write to support@tunnelside.com.

2. Your account

• You need an email address that you can read. We use it to verify the account and to let you reset your password.
• Each account manages one club. Keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
• After several wrong passwords an account is locked for a short time to protect it.

3. Playing fair

Play the game through its website the way it is meant to be played. Do not use bots or scripts to play for you, do not exploit mistakes in the game to gain an advantage (report them to us instead), do not disturb the service or other managers, and do not choose club names that are offensive or that impersonate others. We may rename a club, restrict an account or close it if these rules are broken.

4. Virtual items

Coins, players, clubs and everything else in the game exist only inside the game. They have no value in money, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred outside the game. Players change hands only through the game’s own auctions. We may correct balances and results when an error in the game requires it.

5. Coins and purchases

• Real money buys bundles of coins and nothing else. There are no random player packs, loot boxes or card openings.
• The price and the number of coins are shown before you pay, and payment is handled by an external payment provider. Coins are added to your club once the provider confirms the payment.
• To buy coins you must confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
• If a payment is refunded or reversed by the provider, the coins it bought are taken back.
• Coins are digital content that is delivered as soon as payment is confirmed. Where the law gives you a right to withdraw or to a refund, nothing in these terms limits it.
• Purchases may be switched off from time to time, for example while the payment service is unavailable.

6. The service

Matches are played on a schedule and the game runs around the clock, but we cannot promise that it will always be available. We keep improving the game and may change its rules, balance and features. If a change affects what you have paid for, we will tell you before it happens.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the account page. Your club then stays in its league under a computer manager, and the coins in its wallet stay with the club. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Section 5 and the records of purchases stay in force after an account ends.

8. Liability

The game is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that are not a direct result of our fault, such as lost progress in a game that has no value in money. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

9. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and we tell players of important changes in the game or by email. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
